Easter is right around the corner -- that means Easter egg hunts and Easter baskets and all sorts of other excuses for candy. So, who can pass up a great deal on chocolate?!?
CVS has an ECB deal going this week that I almost missed. At first blush, it didn't look like such a terrific deal, but now that I'm looking at it again --- its looking better. Here's how I plan to work it out:
Buy: 3 bags Hershey's Kisses $1.88 each
1 bag Hershey's Bliss $3.50
3 Hershey's Mini Eggs $2.00 each
Merchandise Total: $15.14
Coupons to Use:
2 Hershey's $1.50 off any 3 bags coupon (HERE)
1 Hershey's Bliss $1 off coupon (HERE)
Coupon Savings: - $4.00
Out-Of-Pocket: $11.14
ECBs Earned: $5.00
That's a total of $6.14 for 7 bags of Hershey's chocolates... 88 cents a bag!
If you have a $3 off $15 CVS coupon and $5 ECBs, you can make this even sweeter -- and only pay $3.14 OOP and still get $5 ECB back --- making money on chocolate.... a truly "sweet" deal!
