Rite Aid: Week of 5/3

Okay, so I am still not a huge RiteAid gal, but for those of you who live in the land of RiteAid monopoly and keep pestering so nicely: Here it is. If I were going to RiteAid this week (probably not) This is what I'd be doing (or helping you to do) Before you go, print this $5/$25 Rite Aid coupon. It will help to reduce your total --- you'll just need to stack things up so that they total $25 BEFORE the coupons -- don't worry -- I can't remember the last time I actually paid $25 at the drugstore.... We just don't do that!

Do keep in mind, however, that at RiteAid -- we pay them and then we get it back at the end of the month. Be prepared to lay out the cash up front --- just giggle a little, knowing you're getting it all back.

Here's what my scenario might look like:
1 package of Tampax Tampons $6.99 ($2.00 coming back)
1 each of the Gillette Mens Shampoo and Stylers, $8.00 ($4.00 coming back)
1 John Freida shampoo $4.99 ($2.00 coming back)
1 Johnson's Baby product (really doesn't matter which one) $1.99
1 Hershey's Chocolate Bliss $2.99 ($1.00 coming back)
1 individual chocolate or some small filler item up to about $.50 to bring it over the $25.00 mark

Total before coupons etc: $24.96 before the filler item so figure on about $25.50

Coupons:
-$5.00 Rite Aid coupon 5/25
- $.50 on the tampax
-$4.00 on the Gillette shampoo/styler combo
-$2.00 on the John Freida
-$1.00 Rite Aid coupon on the Johnson's
-$1.00 manufacturers coupon on the Johnson's
-$1.00 on the Hershey's Bliss
So -- I'll be paying them approximately $11.00 (remember, this is the down side of the Rite Aid program, we have to put the money out and wait until the end of the month to get it back.

Now, submit for the rebates you have coming: $9.00 in rebates (don't submit now -- just get it all set up -- there will likely be more you want to do this with during the rest of the month -- You can only submit one rebate per month - that's why they call it Single Check Rebate
Total cost for ALL THAT STUFF: $2.00
