CVS Black Friday

I am not a Black Friday shopper. I don't like the crowds. I don't like the frustration. I don't like the frenetic energy. And I'm usually nearly finished with my Christmas shopping by the time Black Friday rolls around.
Add all of that up --- and factor in the amazing deals that I get on a regular basis --- and there is just no point in going out on Black Friday for me. We usually go up into the wilds and get our Christmas tree on the day after Thanksgiving (the plan for this year, as well)
However --- I'm breaking my usual Black Friday policy just a wee bit. I'm not going near any of the malls, any of the shopping plazas, any of the big box stores. I AM going to my favorite drugstores (all of which are free standing stores without the hassle of the parking and crowds). Why am I suddenly making this abrupt policy change?? Well, the deals are just beyond --- they're simply too good to pass up.
Southern Savers has mapped out the CVS strategy (this woman is GOOD!) I've pasted her plan here for you --- but go on over and check out her blog --- she's tremendous.

The Grand Plan.
This is what I will do Thanksgiving morning using the coupons that I have. I have done this starting with no extra care bucks to make it easy for anyone that is just starting. I do have $15 ECB’s remaining from last weeks Duracell deal, to use those add transaction #2 and #3 together (remove the .50 cent filler item) and pay with the $15 ECB from last week.

You still have one Aussie Product left that you can buy.

Since I blew it with the Duracell deal and ended up with a $30 ECB (how the heck am I gonna spend a $30 ECB --- my totals are always under $10) I'm going to have to make a few adjustments to her plan --- but I'm loving that the bulk of the work is done for me. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
