Price Chopper: Week of 8/1

Most of Price Chopper's ad this week is a yawn --- but the Unilever CAT deal looks interesting:
The ad shows the following products included in the deal:

There aren't that many coupons out there for these products (hoping for this week??). But remember CAT deals run off of shelf prices, so maybe the difference between shelf and sale prices will make this a good deal.  I'll try to check shelf prices next time I'm in PC

Stop and Shop: Week of 7/30

I was in Stop and Shop earlier today (cleaning up on GM cereal and granola bars) and I noticed a few deals that start tomorrow that are worth noting ----  Remember there are dollar doublers in the flyer this week --- that means they'll double a coupon that is $1 for you with the dollar doubler coupon.

Target: Cranberry Juice Week of 7/25

I'm still hunting around for good deals at Target to supplement my planned Kashi trip (its a shame when you're that addicted to a granola bar, isn't it???  I really want to make the trip worth my time and energy -- so deals besides just the Kashi are on the menu)
MommySnacks had this one:
$1.98 Ocean Spray Juice & Juice Cocktails 64 oz
$1/1 Ocean Spray Juice 5/2/2010 RP Insert (exp 8/31/2010)
$1/1 Ocean Spray Blueberry Juice Drinks, 64 oz Bottle

More Rite Aid: Week of 7/25

I just noticed this over at MoneySavingMom ---
There’s an in-ad coupon in this week’s Rite Ad flier for $4/1 any ACE produce.
Use this on the Sports Tape and Sports Underwrap priced at $3.99 to get them free.

Thanks Crystal!!

Rite Aid: Week of 7/25

Okay, Rite Aid is better this week.  I can handle this – some nice freebies to work with.  I also got some information on how the UP rewards seem to be working.
It appears that they DO double (unlike Walgreens RR) – in other words, if you buy 2 of the item, you get 2 UP rewards.  They also seem to stack – you can buy multiple UP items in one transaction and you’ll get all of the UP rewards on your receipt.  All good news – I might be ready to give this a go and make some money at Rite Aid too.

Colgate Advanced Sensitive toothpaste (some other varieties seem to work as well, but this one is a sure thing)  $3.00
Get $3 UP
Use $1/1 from  7/11 SS
Final Cost:  PROFIT $1.00
This also qualifies for the Oral Care SCR #556 –  Buy $15 get a $5 Gift Card OR buy $25 get a $10 Gift Card --- so save the receipt and enter it.  There are several freebies and moneymakers this week that qualify for that SCR, so you may be able to turn this into a real moneymaker.

Listerine Pocket Packs  $3.99
Get $1 UP Reward
Get $2.99 SCR (limit 1)
This also qualifies for the Oral Care Rebate #556 (a double dip)
Use $.50/1 from 4/11 RP
Final Cost:  PROFIT $.50

Reach Toothbrush $3.99
Get $1 UP Reward
Get $2.99 SCR (this is the same SCR as the Listerine Pocket Packs, so you can’t do both)
This also qualifies for the Oral Care Rebate #556
Use  $1/1 Reach from 3/7 RP
Final Cost:  PROFIT $1.00

Nivea for Men Bodywash $1.99
Get $1 UP Reward
Use $1/1 from 7/25 RP
Use BOGO Nivea from 7/25 RP (if your Rite Aid allows both)
Final Cost:  FREE (might be a profit with the BOGO)

Stayfree MaxiPads, OB Tampons or Carefree Pantiliners $3.00
Get $2 UP Reward when you buy 2 packages

I think I’m moving into Staples this week.  Do you think they’ll set up a cot for me or will I need to sleep on the floor??  Start fishing through your recycling bin – you’ll need the Staples flyer.  There are some coupons in it --- and they don’t/won’t give you copies at the store.

Walmart: Week of 7/25

Walmart has the same lunchbox deal that I mentioned at Target.

I’ll be on the lookout both places, only because I’m going to be in Walmart using up my $2/1 Pampers wipes coupons from the 6/6 PG (they expire 7/31, so I’m in a hurry)  Walmart sells them for $1.97 – so FREE
I know, I know, --- I don’t do diaper deals – but someone I love uses these like crazy in the car for cleaning hands – and we use them occasionally to take paint off older hands so I’m stocking up --- Free is free, after all.

CVS: Week of 7/25

I have a $15 ECB that I need to use up this week --- and I find the larger denomination ECBs really challenging to use.  So my goal is to put together one transaction of totally free and moneymaking items to break up my $15 ECB into smaller denominations that are easier to use (and won’t expire until August – this is one is expiring NOW)  Fortunately, this is an easy week to do this with ---- go make money at CVS, friends!
